Courses that we can offer you at Woodys Training

We have now updated some of our courses to help you better understand this side of our trade, the courses we offer as listed below, or if you require a different type of day then please contact us regarding this as we may be able to tailor a day for you.

Multi-Meter & Fault-Finding 1 Day course (Standard Day) Max 6 people
We run a least 1 of these every month (we will run a second day if needed) we will only have a maximum of 8 attendees on these courses, this ensures that or trainers have time to help everybody who may need help. You will still cover all of what you need, but you may have to work in small groups as there is not time for everybody to do the same thing this is why it is a cheaper day, but will still cover all things we need to.
Price for this day is £125 per person we don’t charge you VAT.

Multi-Meter & Fault-Finding Day 1 day course (1 on 1 Day)
As the name implies you will get the full use of the centre for the day. We have been offering these for a few years now, some people prefer to train on their own, or the set days may not suit them, you will cover the same as on the 1 on 1 standard day, just you will have more things to do, and more time to do it, and you can choose the day you want (as long as it is not already booked)
Price for this day is £220 per person we don’t charge you VAT (you can add extra people if needed)

Multi-Meter Day Fault-Finding day (2 day course)
This is a new course we are now running on a trial basis, we have had requests that some people would rather have this over 2 days, so we now also offer this, you will do the same as a 1 on 1 day, just you will have more things to do and to look at, with more time we can cater a bit more for you needs with much more time to help cover things, different people will take things in a different speeds, we are all different after all.

Price for this 2 day course is £399 (as you can see it is not charged as 2 days as this would be £440) we will only run these as back to back days (2 consecutive days)

On any of these days you will get a better understanding of the tools that you need to carry out your job, the biggest problem we find is that people are not sure what tools are required to carry out this sort of work. We can also supply these tools at very good prices on the day (we always have on the day only offers)

Parts Replacement & Service Day (Standard Day) max 3 people
Because of the feedback we have received over the past 18 months we now run a “Parts replacement & Service Day” because a lot of people who only install boilers are struggling to get to grips with the inner workings on the boilers, or for people who have completed portfolios as a “fast track” means of entering this trade. We aim to make sure that any boiler that you may work on will be what you are going to be able to work on, when you go on a manufacturers training day you can learn a lot of things, but not many will cover boilers that they no longer sell, so the boilers that you may work on will be under a “manufacturer’s warranty” and as such not a thing you can repair. All of our boilers (some are new, but still out of warranty) so you will learn on the things that you will be going out to.

Price for this day is £204.00 No VAT Max 3 people

This day can also be done as a 1 on 1 day, so you will still cover all as above, but you can work on more boilers.

The price for this day as a 1 on 1 day is £254.00 no VAT
